I always thought that the definition of  "liberal" was to be open-minded and capable of accepting a variety of ideas as having some validity.  However, in today's world, I find the people who claim to be "Liberals" to be among the most closed-minded people around.  They are so sure that they are right about everything, that it never seems to occur to them that somebody else might be right some of the time.

As a matter of fact the only thing really liberal about Liberals is how liberal they are in spreading all that manure around about how wrong everybody else is.

Think of America as a big Grandfather Clock watched by the entire country. Sometimes the big pendulum swings a little to far to the right and the people make a correction . When the swing is a little too far to the

left, another correction must be made. During the last election the people on the left believed that the time was just right and planned on things continuing that same way they had been. They had not paid too much

attention to the folks on the right who were not only tired of being politically correct and somewhat liberal, but tired of having very little spending money. They were also afraid the the country had become very different

than the one which they had grown up in. So come election time a big upset occurred, which elected a man who probably would never been elected under different circumstances. The people on the right were very happy,

and the people on the left went to work on setting the clock back to the (in their opinion) correct time..
